A great opportunity for an experienced Data Centre Manager to join one of the regions most dynamic Investment Banks.

You will join a business focused regional IT group responsible for managing infrastructure and the deployment of new systems, technologies and services.
In this role you will be part of the Data Centre Management team whose responsibility is the provision of a suitable environment to host devices in the data centre and communication rooms across the entire Asia region.
This role will have a heavy project element and will require an individual with a good technical understanding of infrastructure technology and project management experience. You will be familiar with capacity management and importantly with compliance requirements for a Data Centre environment. A good understanding of ITIL Service Management will also be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities will include:
project management of new data centre installations
managing standards and control over data centre changes
managing vendor relationships pertaining to data centre operations and management
liaising with 3rd parties to plan and execute installations and upgrades
maintaining control over data centre access
maintaining inventory and procure where necessary items relating to the data centre
assisting to define data centre strategy
designing, implementing and maintaining data centre monitoring systems in conjunction with building services departments
good knowledge of backup and recovery processes and audit requirement
designing and implementing data centre cabling systems for any office, regionally
assist with server installation and network connectivity, planning data centre resources as appropriate
responsibility for financial planning and running of data centre facilities
You must have a number of years data centre experience. You must have initiative, be flexible and comfortable working in a changing environment where you are expected to perform under time pressure. Work outside of normal business hours (e.g. late start and late finish on weekday or weekend work) and regional travel are expected.
This role is ideal for self-starters who are customer-focused, have excellent communication skills and are team players. Ideally you will be qualified to degree level with proven experience in a customer support role.
