Fast paced, growing alternative investment firm, located in the Chicago, IL area is seeking a C# UI developer for their Credit Desk. The function of this role is to develop UIs for the desk, including risk/analytics, valuation model front-end, management reporting, and market surveillance.

The role will require close interaction with portfolio managers and other trading personnel. In addition, the role will require working closely with IT staff to develop solutions integrated with existing firm systems.

Requires:

- Extensive experience developing Microsoft C# applications in the financial industry.

- Must have experience with multi-threaded clients handling real-time updates, not just screen scrapers.

- Familiarity with messaging and/or transactional middleware. - Experience with database technology; proficiency in SQL.

- Experience in financial industry, fixed income or credit a plus.
