C/C++/C#, Java, KDB, KDB+, algorithms, algorithmic trading, fixed income, UNIX, R/Matlab, Perl, Python. A fantastic opportunity for a C++ / KDB developer to join a multi strategy hedge fund in London.

You will have the objective of making a strong contribution to the maintenance and development of tick-by-tick market data management and the implementation of high frequency real time trading strategies. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years experience of core C/C++/C#/Java in a similar role. You must have an excellent degree (or equivalent) in computing or numerate subject and have excellent database design and implementation. UNIX commercial experience including shell and admin preferred. Experience with KDB and R/Matlab is essential, solid knowledge of real time market data capture from algorithmic trading perspective a bonus. Technical experience with multithreading and object oriented development on a Windows platform is advantageous.
